Zombies

Overview

Zombies are aggressive NPCs and will attack on sight. Their primary way of dealing damage to the player is close-range attacks, which are especially deadly if you happen to encounter numerous zombies at once.

Fighting Zombies

Weapons are the primary way of dealing with the undead in A Desrt.

Melee Weapons allow you to take on zombies in close-range combat.

Ranged Weapons are capable of taking out zombies from a safe distance and are usually more effective than Melee ones.

Note: Zombies can sometimes be knocked down after receiving damage. Keep an eye out for the black skull symbol when fighting them. When a black skull symbol appears above a zombie, it means they are fully dead.

Variations

Currently, all of the Zombies in A Desrt have the same model and behavior. However, there are a couple of variations, which are mainly cosmetic. These are usually tied to in-game events.
