In Absolvement, Weapons are one of the main features of combat and progression for a player’s character. With a wide array of Weapon Types and their Rarities, players have the freedom to choose which one of them best fits their playstyle.

How To Get And Upgrade Weapons

Getting A Weapon

In Absolvement, Weapons are not meant to be crafted or purchased from an NPC. Instead, they are obtained through defeating opponents. Once defeated, they’ll drop orbs which can contain:

All of the Orb drops, and their respective Rarities, are based on luck. Therefore, farming for a Unique or Mythical rarity weapon might take some time.

Upgrading A Weapon

There are three stages of upgrades that players in Absolvement can purchase from the Blacksmith NPC.

Lux, The Town Blacksmith

Lux, The Town Blacksmith will offer three levels of upgrades, all of them costing a different amount of Gold. Besides Gold, players will also be required to finish 5 Dungeon Runs in between each Weapon Upgrade.

  • Upgrade Level 1 : 75 Gold
    • +5% [M1] Damage and Armor
  • Upgrade Level 2: 150 Gold
    • +10% [M1] Damage and Armor
  • Upgrade Level 3: 300 Gold
    • +15% [M1] Damage and Armor

Besides Weapons, Lux can also upgrade a player’s armor.

Flamelash

Scales From: Fire
Critical: Whip-like flames erupt from the blade, hitting the opponent three times, each hit dealing 5.29 Fire damage totaling to 15.87.

Floral Rapier
Deals 5.5 Damage.
Scales From: Nature
Critical: Both the blade and the character dash forward, leaving behind a pollen cloud piercing the opponent, poisoning them and dealing 5 damage. The poison lasts 10 seconds and deals 1.2 Poison Damage per second.

Headtaker’s Greatsword
Deals 15.64 Damage.
Scales From: Shadow
Critical: The player slams their greatsword into the ground, dealing 11.73 Shadow Damage. After the slam, the player rushes forward slashing and knocking back everyone in their path, dealing 11.73 Shadow damage.

Justicar’s Greatsword
Deals 14.87 Damage.
Scales From: Holy, Defensive And Healing
Critical: Sacrifices 10% of the players Max Health, granting a decent regeneration buff and 10% additional armor for the player and their allies.

Sealed Sword
Deals 7.6 Damage.
Scales From: Holy and Fire.
Critical: Slams the sword into the ground, making a white flame erupt dealing 7.6 Holyflame damage to opponents in its radius. Each opponent hit by the Whiteflame will be set on fire, taking 2.15 Fire damage each second for 12 seconds.

Crystallized Katana
Deals 12.65 Damage.

The Crystallized Katana Weapon has a unique feature. Every 5 successful [M1] attacks causes crystals to grow on your arms. These crystals can be shattered by using your [Critical]. The shattering will deal 8.97 damage, plus an additional 5.5 per Stage, of which there are two. Reaching the second stage will grant the player hyperarmor, and cause the [Critical] to bypass any parries.

Tidebreaker Cutlass
Deals: 10.62 damageSummon a whirlpool of brackish water. Every successful M1 on an enemy increases the size of the whirlpool by 1.33 studs and increase the total damage by 10% After 10 seconds, the whirlpool will collapse, aggressively pulling in nearby enemies and dealing 5% of your total M1 damage as Water Damage over 10 hits.


Cinderheart Maul
Deals: 14.78 damageSwin the maul around you aggressively, swirling your entire body with it dealing 3 fire damage every swing for 8 seconds. Afterwords slam the hammer down into the ground to cause the Magma Buildup to erupt, dealing 10 Fire Damage and setting enemies on fire.

Ethereal Kris
Deals 6.9 Damage
Scales From: Physical and Shadow
Critical: The player opens up a void by slashing the air, plunging their dagger inside. The dagger then slices every nearby opponent for 9 Shadow Damage, making them Bleed and take 6.25 Physical Damage every second for 7 seconds.

Rotspike
Deals 7.1 Damage.
Scales From: Disease.
Critical: The player stabs themselves with the diseased blade, making them Infected and causing 3 Disease damage per second for 15 seconds. While the player is infected, all of their attacks apply Rot to their opponents.

Drowned Scythe
Deals 15.74 Damage.
Scales From: Water
Critical: Encases the player in a protective bubble, granting them I-Frames for 7 seconds.

Gravetender’s Scythe
Deals 15.74 Damage.
Scales From: Physical and Shadow
Critical: Spins the Scythe, dealing 11.81 Shadowstrike damage to nearby opponents, afterwards slamming it into the ground and dealing another 11.81 Shadowstrike damage.

Mythical Spears

Dragonmaw Pyke
Deals 11.28 Damage
Scales From: Physical and Wind
Critical: Impales the opponent dealing 4 Damage. Afterwards, lifts them up in the air and slams them on the ground, dealing another 9 Wind Damage. If the opponent dodges your initial attack, slams the blade into the ground dealing 4 damage.

Frostwake Spear
Deals 11 Damage.
Scales From: Frost
Critical: Dashes forward spinning the spear 2 times, each time dealing 4 Frost damage. The follow-up attack jabs the opponents for 11 Frost damage, freezing them in place for 2 seconds.

Worshipper’s Spear
Deals 11.92 Damage.
Scales From: Physical
Critical: Tethers the spear to the players hand, throwing it at an opponent and dealing 18.09 Physical damage. Once the spear is pulled back, the target is left with a Deep Bleed causing them to take 3 Physical damage every second for 6 seconds.

Mythical Hammers

Hand Of Justice
Deals 16.63 Damage.
Scales From: Holy
Critical: The player raises the hammer and slams it down on the ground, granting themselves Hyper-Armor which protects them from harm, but prevents them from using anything other than the Critical. Once the hammer lands, it deals 16.3 Holy damage and leaves a large dome around the player, dealing 3 Holy damage per second for 5 seconds.

Stonebleeder Greataxe
Deals 20.86 Damage.
Scales From: Earth
Critical: The axe slams and splits the ground beneath, causing rocks to fly out out, and each of them dealing 31.29 Earth damage.

Mythical Bows

Stormweaver
Deals 13.56 Damage.
Scales From: Lightning
Critical: Fires out 5 Lightning beams in front of the character, each of them dealing 17.2 Lightning damage.

Silkwing Bow
Deals: 12.24 DamageSmash your hand into the ground, causing bloodbriars to erupt within 25 studs around you, wrapping around enemies and stunning all nearby enemies for 5 seconds.
