Map Locations Legend

Map Icon	Details
NPCs	Non-player characters that offer you quests, sell certain items, and allow you to sell items from your inventory.
Treasure Chests	Treasure Chests drop common items and currencies such as Oxygen Pods, Star Shards, and Cash.
Ducks	Ducks are collectibles you can offer to Bob to access the area where you can purchase the Plunger Gun and Bath Tube.

All Abyss Regions

There are currently three major regions in Abyss: Forgotten Deep (surrounded by the Ocean), Ancient Sands, and Spirit Roots. Additionally, there are two hidden areas accessible from the Ocean: Morveth’s Cave and Angler Cave.

Forgotten Deep

The Forgotten Deep is the main hub as well as your starting location in Abyss. You can purchase starting Tubes and Guns and complete the Kraken, Scientist, and Virelia Questline.
You can find fish with albino, invisible, moss, neon, and golden mutations in the Forgotten Deep.

There are 2 rubber ducks and 4 chests within the Forgotten Deep.

Ancient Sands

The Ancient Sands is the second location, outside of the open ocean, that you can visit in Abyss. Here, you can purchase midgame Tubs and Guns and complete the Marcus, Grumpy Hank, and Mysterious Fisher Questlines.
Fish with the sand, metal, coral, and cactus mutations can be found in Ancient Sands.

There are 3 ducks and 22 chests within the Ancient Sands

Spirit Roots

The third location you can visit in The Abyss is Spirit Roots. You can purchase endgame Tubs and Guns from Lumi, as well as complete the Spirit Roots questline here.
You can find rooted, ultraviolet, fairy, and angelic fish mutations in Spirit Roots.

There are 3 ducks and 25 chests in the Spirit Roots.

The Sunken Wilds

The fourth, and currently deepest, location you can visit in The Abyss is the Sunken Wilds. You can purchase endgame Tubes and Guns in the Monkey Kinds Lair, as well as complete many endgame questlines. You can find the Banana, Grounded, Liquid and Jade mutations in the Sunken Wids.
