In Abyss, you can interact with various NPCs that will either assist you by providing a service under the sea, or give you Quests that you can do in order to level up and boost your Gear.

Forgotten Deep

 Henry (Harpoon Seller) | Henry is former Deep Diver and serious adventurer; looking for fish and thrills in the depths of Earth until lady luck run out. His crew was taken from him by the sea, and he himself barely made it. Now, he passes his knowledge and Harpoons to fresh faces who seek the depths as he once did.  Crab (???) | Speaking of Henry’s companion. It’s a creature of even less words than Richard. A simple “click clack, click clack”, but there is intention behind those words, you will just have to find it out.  Mr. Black (Oxygen Seller) | He’s a man who is shrouded in mystery and doesn’t enjoy sharing, about himself that is.  David (Tube Seller) | Good ol’ David. A happy-go lucky bloke who’s here to help everyone. He carries a smile on his face as well as tubes you can use to explore further into the great unknown. | Sells: •Old Tube •Normal Tube •Fire Tube •Pufferfish Tube |
 Billy (Storage NPC) | A real man’s man. Handsome, rugged, and knows when to ask and when not to ask questions.  Virelia (Geode NPC) | Virelia, known also as the Good Witch, is the AWOOGA *barks* anyways… She uses her mighty spells to crack geodes and uncover their ancient secrets in order to better understand the world that is, and once was. the crab gives you a quest after you find the crab scroll
