Bite by Night is a horror survival Roblox Experience where you can either play as a killer in order to catch other players, or play as a survivor and try to escape the killer. This game is inspired by the popular video games Five Nights at Freddy’s and Dead by Daylight.
The developers have announced an official release date: Bite by Night will release on March 28th, 2026.

Features
- Killers: you can play as different Killers in the game; each Killer has a unique set of abilities to help them catch players. Some of the confirmed Killers so far are: Springtrap and The Mimic.
- Survivors: if you are playing as a Survivor, your goal will be to evade the Killer and complete puzzles around the map. Survivors will get unique abilities, much like the Killers. The confirmed classes for the Survivors are the: Fighter and Healer.
- Puzzles/Minigames: each match will require players to complete puzzles and minigames around the map which will help their team escape and win the game.
- Maps: Play on of the many unique maps in the game, each having their own puzzles, obstacles and more. Multiple maps will be available on release, one is confirmed to be called The Forest.
- Cross-Platform: Bite by Night can be played on PC, Mobile, and Console.
Gameplay
At the start of each match, a player will be chosen randomly to be the Killer for that match, and the rest of the players will play as Survivors with unique classes.
Gameplay as the Killer
If you are chosen to be the Killer for the match, you will get to choose what Killer you play from the available ones (Springtrap and The Mimic are the only confirmed ones so far). Each Killer will have a set of unique abilities that will help them in catching and killing the Survivors. You will have to use the abilities to track Survivors around the map and kill them before they power up all the generators and leave the map, ending the game.
Gameplay as a Survivor
If you are not chosen to be the Killer, you will play as a Survivor and you will get the choose a class, which will give you unique abilities that can help you evade the Killer or help the rest of the Survivors. The goal of the Survivors is to work together and power up all the generators around the map which will open an exit and let you all leave and win the game. To power up the generators, you will need to complete puzzles/minigames while also evading the Killer, which is why teamwork is important. You can use the terrain to slow down the Killer, for example, holding doors shut, blocking off paths, etc.
