Butterfly Mode

The Butterfly Mode grants players the ability to fly. The duration of the flight depends on whether the player is currently engaged in combat.

“In Combat, players are able to stay airborne for a total of 5 seconds, however whilst not in combat the flight duration is increased to 7 seconds.”

Besides flying, Akimichi bloodline members will also be able to learn the Butterfly Slam ability.

Butterfly Slam

The Butterfly Slam ability is the enhanced version of the Earth Slam Ability.

The main difference between the two is that the Butterfly Slam attack will Chakra Seal opponents if they’re caught inside of its radius.

Trivia

• The Akimichi Bloodline is heavily inspired by the Akimichi Clan from the Naruto anime and manga series.
• The Butterfly Mode used by the Akimichi Clan members is a form of chakra manipulation, in which users convert calories stored inside their bodies into chakra. The chakra then takes the form of a pair of wings sitting on their backs.
