Weapons

In Broken Blade, Weapons serve as your primary way of dealing damage to mobs and Bosses. They can be obtained through crafting, however, you’ll need to gather the necessary Materials beforehand. The needed Materials can be acquired by defeating enemies and Bosses, opening Chests or redeeming Codes.

There are a total of three different Weapon types:

  • Sword
  • Katana
  • Buster

With the newly released Excalibur update, you can now enhance your Weapons even further to deal additional damage. Another way of boosting your damage output is by rolling for and equipping Races, Elements and Blessings.

How to Craft Weapons

The Unlock Cost of the Light Scar Katana

To begin crafting a Weapon in Broken Blade, you’ll first need to find it in the in-game world. Each Weapon you find will first need to be Unlocked using the in-game currency, Gems as well as different Tier “Pieces” associated with that Weapon type.

After you unlock a Weapon, you’ll then be able to use Element Materials to Forge it. Each added Element provides a different set of Stats, some of which are Increased Damage, Crit Chance and Crit Damage, Health, Lifesteal and so on.

How to Enhance Weapons

There are two ways of enhancing your Weapons in Broken Blade:

  • Upgrading them at the Forge Master NPC on Muspelheim Island
  • Using the Soul Forge on Jotunheim Island

Upgrading

You can increase the overall damage output of your Weapon by Upgrading the Elemental Materials used when forging it initially. To do so, head over to the Muspelheim Island and talk to the Forge Master NPC found inside of a small volcano behind the Ragaros Boss. To upgrade existing Element Materials, you’ll need to use additional ones for each upgrade level.

Soul Forging

Another way to increase your damage output is by “Soul Forging” your Weapon. This can be done by interacting with the Soul Forge NPC found on the second level of the tower in the middle of Jotunheim Island. To Soul Forge your Weapon, you’ll need to use Soul Stones obtained through the Sky Spire challenge.
