Fishing Nets
Fishing Nets are the primary way of acquiring Fish in Catch and Cook! You can obtain Fishing Nets by purchasing them with Dabloons, the in-game currency. There are several tiers of Fishing Nets, with each subsequent one being locked and requiring a higher player Rank to obtain.
How to Get and Minigame
In order to catch fish in Catch and Cook, you’ll need to get your hands on a Fishing net. This can be done by purchasing them from Caspian Gill’s Gear shop (pictured above).
How to Get
Interacting with him will give you two different choices, to purchase a Fishing Net select the “Show me your nets.” one.
This dialogue option will open up the Fishing Nets shop. From there, you’ll be able to see all the Stats, Prices and Rank requirements for specific Fishing Nets.
Minigame
The Fishing minigame in Catch and Cook consists of two key mechanics:
- Throwing your net:
- Hold down the Left Mouse Button in order to throw your net out. Holding it down longer will result in the net being cast farther.
- Catching the Fish:
- After you cast your net, a bar will appear on your screen with a moving indicator sweeping across it. Your goal is to precisely tap the indicator when it falls in the highlighted zone. Continue doing so until the small fish icon reaches the top of the blue bar on the right.
