Welcome to the Community Driven Catch and Tame Wiki.
Catch and Tame is a Roblox collectathon game where you will wrangle up various animals and breed them in order to get even more rare and valuable creatures. You will need to understand food variants, lasso types and also recipes in order to get every animal in the game.

This game is developed by Manta Games.

Features

• Animals: There are over 100 animals that you can collect and breed between.
• Mounts: Several animals can serve as mounts that you can use to easily move around the game world.
• Recipes: Breeding functions on a luck-based system where a particular combination of animals will breed specific ones. You can’t breed a duck and a moose, expecting a dragon!
• Income: Each animal will farm you money every second. You’ll collect that income in order to expand your pen, buy food, lassos, and so on.
• Mutations: There are currently 7 possible mutations for each animal, each boosting profit a different amount.
• Events: During events, you will be surrounded by unique spawning pets or items that can be harnessed to boost your pen.

Gameplay

The main gameplay loop in Catch and Tame is lassoing animals, bringing them to your pen, breeding them, collecting money, and repeating. After a while of doing this, you will be able to unlock new lassos in order to catch stronger animals as well as expanding your pen.
On the off chance someone is willing to socialize and not be a shut in, you can also trade your pets with other players.

Controls

Beginner’s Guide

Initially, you should focus on catching as many varied creatures of common/rare rarity and breed them enough to have expanded your pen at least 4 times. At this point, you should prioritize 2 things: getting a better lasso or buying the Trait Machine from the store.

The Trait Machine is used by selecting a primary pet to receive traits, and several other ones to sacrifice for said primary pet. The traits you will receive could give you more eggs, faster hatching time, etc. This will cut your grinding time by a lot, since you will receive more pets more often via hatching.

After this you simply get better lassos and repeat the same process with more rare pets until you’ve filled up your pet index.
