Weapons
Weapons are the main way to fight enemies in Excry. Each Weapon has unique animations and a special critical move you can use by clicking [R]. Your choice of Weapon type will heavily impact the rest of your gameplay, so choosing the right one for your desired playstyle is essential.
This is a work in progress wiki, as the game isn’t released yet. We will keep updating as new info comes out.
Overiew
In Excry, Weapon progression operates differently than in other classic RPG games. Weapons will increase in power the more you use them, which will be signified by a letter proficiency rank. The ranks of the weapons can go from E (the lowest) to SSR (the highest).
Each Class will require you to have a specific proficiency rank with a certain Weapon type in order for you you get that Class (see class weapon requirements below).
- Brawler Class ->E Proficiency Rank in any type of Fist Weapon
- Rogue Class -> E Proficiency Rank in any type of Light Weapon
- Mage Class ->E Proficiency Rank in Fists
- Swordsman Class ->E Proficiency Rank in any type of Medium Sword Weapon
- Spearsman Class -> E Proficiency Rank in any type of Spear Weapon
- Warlord Class ->E Proficiency Rank in any type of Heavy Weapon
How to Get Weapons
There are many types of different Weapons in Excry. You can get most mid- to late-game Weapons as rewards from Quests or drops from Bosses. You can also buy a steel basic Weapon of any type from the Blacksmith Demetrius at the starting village.
