They will focus on fighting humans and CCG members but they can also attack other ghouls.
Most of them will just use skills from the Skill Tree and won’t be using their Kagune abilities.
Ghoul NPCs that spawn from medium and hard missions parry and dodge more often and are harder to kill.

Tips and Tricks

If you are fighting a 1v1 and you have some long ranged attacks, it’s best to create some space and attack from the distance as they try to close the gap. You might be able to land your hits first and give yourself the slight advantage. In case you don’t have any long ranged attacks, you can jump on them with your jump critical (Jump + R), follow up with your other skills (use skills that give you hyper armor if you have any since you won’t get interrupted while attacking).

In case they parry your attack, there is a high chance that they are going to try and hit you right after, so use your parry ( F ) to block their attack. In case they are dodging, you should create some space between yourself and them, so that they have to move to you and you can land a hit on them easier or force them to parry or dodge again. In case you are the one parrying, if you do it too early while they are not attacking yet, they might try to do a critical attack that breaks your parry, in that case, dodge instantly after you parry and catch them off guard while they are in attack animation.

Fighting a group of ghouls might sometimes be even easier since they can hit each other. Try to make them as close to each other as possible and move around them while weaving attacks and skills.
