How to Get Quinque
After reaching Rank 1 Investigator, you’ll be able to obtain your first Quinque. To do so, firstly speak to the Feye Sasaki NPC located at the CCG base. After paying ¥2,500, you’ll be rewarded with your first Briefcase.
However, that’s not all you’ll need to do.
For the process to be complete, you’ll need to:
- Find a Ghoul with an active Kagune
- Knock them out
- Use the Briefcase on them
If you do this successfully, you’ll be rewarded with a random Quinque category.
Note: If you die while carrying your Briefcase, it will be lost, and you’ll need to purchase a new one.
How to Craft Quinque
After getting your first Quinque from a Ghoul, you can obtain other Quinque that can only be crafted.
To do this, head over to the CCG building and go to the laboratory floor. Interact with the table on the left to access the crafting interface. At first, you’ll only see a few basic materials under the “Current Blueprints” section.
To unlock Quinque crafting recipes, a “Blueprint” item is required. Blueprints can be acquired through NPC drops and in-game events. After using a Blueprint, a random Quinque recipe will appear in the crafting interface next time you access it.
The materials needed can usually be found and obtained through playing the game, however, some are only available through crafting.
