Chubby Chipmunk Event was added on the 1.26.0 update that started on 4th of October. The event will have rewards, seeds, pets, weather, and more.

Mechanics

You can get a Chubby Chipmunk on the Chubby Chipmunk Event Island (center of the map). You can get additional rewards from your Chubby Chipmunk depending on how heavy it is.

Nutty Fever

You can also submit plants to the Chubby Chipmunk Event NPC to activate the Nutty Fever weather for 5 minutes. During this weather, your Chubby Chipmunk’s ability will be reduced to 30 seconds.
