Mutation Types
Mutations can be categorized according to the way they’re obtained. While some can occur naturally, through gameplay, others are obtained through limited items or admin-related events.
Standard Mutations
These Mutations can generally be acquired through in-game means (Gears, Pets, Weather etc.) and do not require limited items or admin intervention.

Environmental Mutations
The Environmental Mutations are usually tied to in-game Weather events, but can also be applied by using specific Gears or through Pet abilities.

Mutation Price Calculation
The selling price of a Crop that’s mutated is determined by a number of formulas which combine a Crop’s stats with the effects of the mutation affecting it.
Base Crop Value
Each Crop has it’s own base value and base weight. In order to scale this up, actual Crop weights are compared to their base weights
Crop Value=Base Value x (Base Weight / Crop Weight)²
The formula ensures heavier Crops are worth more, however with diminishing returns since the weight is squared in relation to the base.
Mutation Multiplier
After calculating the Base Crop Value, the game will then take into account all the currently present mutations on the Crop.
Mutation Multiplier = Variant Multiplier x (1+(sum of all bonuses) − (number of mutations))
Final Price Calculation
The Final Price of a mutated Crop is calculated by multiplying the Base Crop Value with the Mutation Multiplier.
Final Price = Crop Value × Mutation Multiplier
