Magic

Magic or utilizing spells is one of the main ways of combat in Nethros. Magic allows players to utilize different types of spells that can buff/debuff and deal elemental damage to others.

How to Get Magic

To get access to Magic, players will have to complete a couple of quests and fine a secret gateway in order to unlock the ability to use spells. For more details, check out the “Unknown Signal” quest page, otherwise:

To start the quest, players will have to put 10 points in their Soul stat. After doing that, the player will get a message indicating that the quest to get Magic has started.

After completing the dialogue, players will be instructed to go talk to “The Stranger“, which is an NPC names Pez. They are located in the Ver Thoran region, on the upper floor of the tavern.

After completing the dialogue with Pez, players will need to find the “Worlds Pulse”. There will be no waypoint to it, but it is located at the bottom of the Interstice region. When the player gets close to it there will be pulsating circles on the screen, making it easy to track from there.

After interacting with the Worlds Pulse symbol on the wall, players will be transported into a different plane.

In this plane, the players will need to make their way to the end of the purple path and interact with the Sigil. It will require a quick minigame. After completing that, players will gain the SkillSoul Resonance” and will be transported into the main world.

This will grant the player with magic potential. However, in order to unlock specific spells, you will need to complete the “The Forgotten Wizard” questline, which will require players to collect elemental sigils.

After completing both quests, the player will be able to pay 1000 Yins, in order to roll for a random spell.

Spells are randomly rolled, meaning there is a chance to get a duplicate spell.

Each spell required the player to make directional inputs(e.g the spell “Luna Pierce” required the players to press [down],[up]). These spells can be cast as many times as the player wants, depending on the available mana.

However, if you want to instant-cast spells, you can purchase Tomes. The downside of tomes, is that the spell is a one-time use, meaning it’s better to simply remember the input for a spell and use it as many times as you want.

Under construction, we will be adding every spell shortly!
