Nightmare Blade
The Nightmare Blade is an Epic Rarity Weapon in Pixel Blade. It’s a dark purple blade with a guard resembling bat like wings that emits dark energy. It’s one of the better epic weapons, due to it’s decent damage and useful skill. However, it’s also a bit hard to get and Upgrade due to only being obtainable from Tier 2 chests which are obtained from defeating Bosses on Heroic difficulty.

How To Get The Nightmare Blade
Players can obtain Nightmare Blade weapon in Pixel Blade through multiple means:
- Drops: Defeating Enemies and Bosses. Not the best way due to very low drop chance.
- Chests: Another way to obtain the Nightmare Blade is by opening Tier 2 Chests or the Daily Chest. The best chance of getting it are from Tier 2 Godly Chests, since it has the biggest % for getting a Epic Item.
How To Upgrade The Nightmare Blade
Upgrading Weapons in Pixel Blade is a fairly straight-forward process.
Every Weapon in the game has a set progress bar at the bottom of the Weapons icon. The progress points needed for each upgrade level are retroactively added through collecting Duplicates of the Weapon already located in a players Inventory.
Once that’s done, players can click on the Upgrade button located under the Weapons Info Card on the right side of their Weapon Inventory. This will open up the upgrade window, which will display the requirements for the upgrade and the additional stats for the next level.
The Weapon Specific Ability is unlocked once a player Upgrades it to Level 2.
Nightmare Blade Upgrades
- Level 1: 35 Base Damage, 10% Base Crit Chance, 2 Knockback
- Level 2: 52 Damage and Blind Ability Unlock
- Level 3: 73.5 Damage and 25% Crit Chance
- Level 4: 99.8 Damage
- Level 5: 134.8 Damage and Crit 45%
- Level 6: 169. Damage
- Level 7: 213.5 Damage
