Upgrades
In Pixel Blade, when you enter a dungeon, you will have to clear multiple rooms of Enemies. When you defeat Enemies, they will give you XP and in turn you will level up. Whenever you level up, you get to choose an upgrade that you keep during the dungeon run. The upgrades can be offensive, defensive and utility.
Each of these Upgrades has four ranks in total, with each Rank increasing the Upgrade’s stats. However, you only get a limited amount of levels, so picking too many different upgrades might not allow you to boost each of them to the highest rank.
Individual upgrade cards can be upgraded further by choosing the same upgrade type again. You can do this a maximum of four times. Each additional upgrade will increase the original’s effects.

Offensive Upgrades

 Flame Element | – Apply Burn effect to the enemies you hit Burn damage scales from your weapon’s base damage. Ticks 3 times |
 Frost Element | – Apply Frost effect to the enemies you hit – Frost damage scales from your weapon’s base damage. Ticks 4 times |
 Poison Element | – Apply Poison effect to the enemies you hit – Poison damage scales from your weapon’s base damage. Ticks 2 times |
 Rage Spirits | – Do additional damage per spirit orb – Rage Spirits damage scales from your weapon’s damage |
 Critical Boost | – Increases the Critical Strike chance of your Weapon |
 Thorns | – Returns 100% of the damage you receive to the enemy that hits you – Additional Ranks of this Upgrade will do even more damage |
 Element Circle | – Apply Fire, Frost or Poison damage to an enemies standing in the Elemental Circle for a certain duration. – Element Circle damage scales from your weapons damage |
Defensive Upgrades
