Purgatorio is an action rpg roblox experience inspired by the Project Moon series. It’s a PVE Roguelike Co-op game, where you and 3 more people manage an office in the city, trying to make it stay open by paying its bills by complete missions. Your goal is to progress as much as you can before dying or by reaching a proper ending, which will unlock more origin and trait options.
Features
- Jobs: You and up to 3 more people complete Jobs/Requests which earn you money and experience, allowing you and your office to progress.
- Weapons: Obtain various weapons that can suit your fighting style.
- Augments: Get various augments that will give you a variety of stat boosts, auxiliary abilities and other useful passives.
- Auxiliaries: Auxiliaries are special abilities that can be easily fitted into any build. Use Skill Points on one of the 5 skill trees, which will greatly increase your strength with various buffs.
- Modifiers: Choose modifiers that will increase the difficulty of the run but also increase the Starlight currency gain.
- Blessings: Use Starlight currency to buy Blessings which are make your run easier, but halve your Starlight currency gain.
- Taxes: Your Office has to pay taxes in order to keep running, complete jobs and earn enough currency to pay your tax or else.
- Office Grade: Progress your office by completing jobs, gathering enough experience and completing an Urgent Request in order to promote., unlocking new jobs and progressions.
- Vendors: In The City, there are various vendors you can talk to in order to purchase various stuff, in some casees you can even complete their requests.
- Insurance: Buy insurance plan that will save your life after dying.

Gameplay
Before you load into the game, you’ll have to make your character. You will get to choose your appearance but, more importantly, you’ll get to choose your personal traits, sanity traits and your background (origins).
Your goal is to complete requests/jobs in order to gain money and exp so that you can pay your office taxes and promote it. At the end of every week, you will be made to pay taxes. Failure to do so 3 times will cause you to be killed by the head of the office, closing your office and restarting everything again.
Doing enough requests/jobs will trigger a major request which is usually to kill a difficult Boss. Completing the major request will promote your office; unlocking harder requests/jobs and buffs for you and your teammates.
You can buy and equip various weapons and Items, or even buy augments (body enhancements) to aid on missions.
Experience can be used to gain auxiliary abilities or passives from the skill tree but, you can lose these from dying or not being revived, this can be prevented by buying insurance.
The run ends when you and your friends die, or if you are capable, you can reach a proper ending, which will unlock origins (Backgrounds), traits etc…
