REELED is an upcoming Roblox Experience which blends fishing with fast–paced shooter mechanics. You’ll use your trusty Fishing Rod to pull Fish of varying rarities out of the water and into the air, before pulling out your Gun of choice to shoot them down. The game is still currently in development by the Reeled team, with a official beta release date on the horizon.
Release Date
Although there is no confirmation for the official 1.0 launch of the game yet, a beta version is set to release on Friday, July 31st at 2:00 PM CST.
Features
- Fish: Fish in are one of the core parts of gameplay in REELED. They are also your main source of income, as selling the Fish you catch will allow you to purchase better Guns and Fishing Rods.
- Locations: The in-game world is split into different Locations, each being a host to different and unique Fish.
- Guns: Unlike other fishing games on Roblox, Guns are your primary tool for successfully catching Fish. Once they’re pulled out of the water, you’ll need to shoot them in order to fully catch them.
- Fishing Rods: Alongside Guns, Fishing Rods play a key role in catching Fish. You’ll use your trust Rod to catch and pull Fish out of the water through a click-based fishing mini-game.
- Codes: Redeem Codes distributed by the developers to claim valuable rewards which can help you progress through the game faster!
Gameplay
REELED reworks the standard experience of fishing in Roblox Games with a fairly unique twist. Guns. Although it features the standard fishing mini-game similar to other experiences, successfully catching Fish in REELED requires both a Fishing Rod and a Gun. You’ll first use your Fishing Rod to bait and pull a Fish into the air, then you’ll then need to equip your Gun of choice and shoot it until you zero-out it’s health bar.
The core gameplay loop follows this simple progression path: catch Fish, sell them for in-game currency, and then use that currency to purchase better Fishing Rods and Guns. Upgrading your gear is the key to catching higher-rarity Fish, and unlocking new Locations in the process.
