Golem Boss

The Golem Boss is the first Boss in The Forge added with the newly released Christmas Update. The Boss can be found behind the Boss Arena Door, inside The Peak Cave on top of the Summit’s Edge location in the Frostspire Expanse Region.

Golem Boss Overview

The Golem Boss can be challenged once every 30 minutes. If you happen to die during the encounter, you will not be able to try again until the timer on the Boss Door expires.

The Boss’s Health scales with the number of players present in the Boss Arena:

One Player: 15,000 HP
Two Players: 22,500 HP
Three Players: 30,000 HP
Four Players: 37,500 HP

The Damage the Golem Boss deals also scales with the number of players.

Finding The Golem Boss

The Peak Entrance seen from the Docks in Frostspire Expanse

The Golem Boss can be found behind the Arena Doors located inside The Peak.

To get to the Boss:

Take the road on the left side of the docks, leading to the small village.
From there, leave the village via the road on the right.
Climb up the mountain and take a right, followed by a left turn to enter The Peak.
Once inside, just go straight ahead and you’ll find the Boss Door.

Golem Boss Abilities

Besides just having basic, although hard-hitting, attacks, the Golem Boss can also execute three special ones.

Note: The IFrames provided by Dashes can and will save you during this fight more than once!

Jump Slam Attack

The Golem Boss leaps into the air, slamming the ground and dealing AOE damage in a large area around him.

Tip: Although the attack covers a large area of the Boss Arena, you can easily dodge out of it as it has a decent wind-up time and the area it covers is telegraphed on the ground below the Boss.

Icicle Summon

The Golem Boss slams his fist on the ground, causing large icicles to fall from the cave’s roof.

Tip: The AOE is fairly small and can be easily dodged if timed properly. Keep in mind that the Golem will do this three times in a row before he finally stops.

Ice Stomp

The Golem Boss stomps the ground, summoning the very ice beneath it to do AOE damage to you and your allies.

Tip: Start dodging as soon as the Golem lifts his right leg, as this is the main indicator for the attack.

Rewards

Beating the Golem Boss in The Forge will net you a hefty chunk of EXP and $ for your effort. Besides that, the Boss can also drop Legendary Essence, needed for enhancing your Weapons and Armor.
