Hollow Progression
The starting point of the Hollow/Arrancar Progression path, in which players start out as Spirit Beings capable of evolving through multiple stages:
- Fishbone
- Menos
- Adjuchas
- Vasto Lore
Fishbone
Players who choose the Hollow/Arrancar Race during Character Creation will start as a Fishbone. The Fishbone are weak Spirit Beings, only capable of Evolving by killing other Hollows and consuming their bodies. Once they gain enough EXP they will automatically evolve into the Menos.
Menos
The Menos are the second Stage of Progression for the Hollow/Arrancar Race. For them to Evolve further, Menos will need to once again defeat other Hollows, but instead of consuming them like the Fishbone, they need to stomp on them to gain EXP.
Note: Menos are capable of removing their Masks [CTRL + K] to transform into the Menoscar, but they’re fairly weak.
Adjuchas
The third Stage of the Hollow/Arrancar Race. Adjuchas can progress into the final Stage, the Vasto Lorde, by collecting Mask Cracks obtained by defeating other Adjuchas. In total, players will need to collect a total of 25 Mask Cracks. Each kill grants 2 Mask Cracks.
Note: If the player dies as and Adjuchas, they will lose 5 Mask Cracks.
At 25 Mask Cracks, players will transform into an Albino Adjuchas, and whispers will start appearing all over their screen. Once this happens, the player character is ready to transform into a Vasto Lorde. To do so, they’ll need to complete one of the following requirements:
- Defeat another Albino Adjuchas.
- Follow the lines that appear on your screen. They will lead the player towards the Vasto Lorde NPC, which they will then need to defeat.
Note: Getting killed by another Albino Adjuchas will result in the player losing all of their collected Mask Cracks, and losing to the Vasto Lorde NPC will revert the player character back to the Menos Stage.
Vasto Lorde
Once players complete all the previous Stages, they will become a Vasto Lorde. From there, they can remove their Masks to become the improved starting variant of the Arrancar, the Vastocar.
Arrancar Progression
The Humanoid form of the Hollows. Players can transform into an Arrancar at any point by removing their Masks [CTRL+K], however it’s best to wait to do so after reaching the Adjuchas or Vasto Lorde Hollow Stage. The Arrancar are capable of using Skill Trees and Abilities, and gain access to end-game features.
- There are three Types of Arrancar, and their starting Grades will reflect the Stage at which the Mask was removed:
- Vastocar (Semi-Grade 2)
- Adjucar (Grade 3)
- Menoscar (Grade 5)
Vastocar
The highest Grade base Arrancar type. Players starting as a Vastocar will have vastly improved Stats and Abilities compared to lower Grade Arrancar types.
The Vastocar comes equipped with an improved version of the base Cero ability, improved Reiatsu Regeneration and unlocked Instinct.
Cero Oscuras |
---|
The Vastocar releases a powerful Cero, which directly scales with their Invested Stats. |
Instinct (Passive) |
---|
Removes all Reiatsu costs and reduces the remaining cooldowns of all Ceros by half when a player’s Health is below 20%. |
Hierro |
---|
Hierro is an ability which grants the player +15% to Defense, with the base amount of attacks negated being 10. It can be activated by pressing [U]. Players are able to upgrade it two times by using Hierro Plates, which will then increase the number of attacks negated (10 > 15 > 21). |
Vastocar players have the option of obtaining Segunda Etapa, as well as transforming into True Vastocar by using 1 True Hogyoku.
Grades
Players have a number of different options for progressing their Grades, such as:
- Grade 5 to Semi-Grade 1: Earning EXP by completing Missions.
- Once players reach Grade 2 they will be able to obtain Form Release, and select a Cero path from the Arrancar Kido Skill Tree.
- Semi-Grade 1 to Elite Grade: Earning EXP by completing Missions.
Form Release
Once players obtain Grade 2, players can make their way to Hueco Mundo Castle. Inside the Castle, players can come across a Pink Orb, which after interacted with will spawn an item on the nearby table. Using this item will teleport the player back to the lobby.
