Once you acquire certain amount of EXP in one these branches, you will gain some benefits.
Quests
In VOYAGERS, there are quest branches that you can start before you start your run. Currently, there are War and Trade quest branches and you can only select one quest branch at a time. Trade quests, as the name implies, focus on trading where you will have to sell items, war quests on the other hand focus on obtaining certain items and killing mobs.
Completing quests will give you EXP and Gold.
