Weapons

Weapons in VV: ULTIMATUM are directly tied to your chosen Race. Not every race shares the same Weapon types. Obtainment, use and progression all depend on whether you choose Shinigami, Hollow or Quincy.

Each Weapon has multiple stages of evolution that are unlocked upon continuous use.

Overview

VV: ULTIMATUM features three distinct weapon systems, one for each of the available Races:

Shinigami: The Shinigami Race uses a custom-made Zanpakuto Weapon, crafted from three separate parts (Hilt, Guard, Handle)
Quincy: The Quincy Race allows you to select one of 8 different Weapons during character creation.
Hollow: The Hollow race-specific Weapon unlocks after you evolve into your Vastocar form.

Shinigami Weapons

Shinigami Race players wield their Zanpakuto, which is built using three key components:

Handle
Guard
Hilt

Shinigami Weapon progression is heavily tied to their Shikai system. Players will need to Meditate, and accumulate Shikai EXP to unlock further stages of their Zanpakuto.

Hollow Weapons become available for Hollow Race players at a later stage in the game, during their evolution into a Vastocar.

Quincy Weapons

Quincy Race players choose their Spirit Weapon during character creation. Each of the available Weapons has their own damage output, moveset, range and attack speed.

Spirit Weapons can eventually be evolved into a stronger variant called the Evolved Spirit Weapon. This can be done by obtaining the Sanrei Glove, and unlocking the ability to meditate. From there, you’ll need to meditate and complete additional missions to until you reach Max Reiatsu.
