How To Spend Skill Points on Taijutsu

In Wagarashi, you get Skill points when you level up. Your level is equal to the amount of Skill points have available.

To spend the Skill Points you need to go into the expanded menu in your inventory ( you can access it with the ` key, the button above TAB), there you can select the Tai skill tree and use your points to get Skills.

With every 2 skill points invested you can choose a Skill you want to take.

Leaf Whirlwind	Do a spinning leg kick that damages opponents.	1
Powerful Impact	Slam your fist into the ground, dealing damage to anybody around.	2
Dynamic Entry	Jump into the air before descending onto an enemy with a kick.	4
Ascending Leaf	Kick your enemy into the air and then follow up with a flurry of blows in the air.	6
Primary Lotus	Kick your opponent multiple times into the air before slamming them to the ground.	8
Dual Kick	Do two fast kicks.	10
Dragon Fist	Knock your opponent up in the air, surrounding them with fire.	12
Diablo Kicks	Start spinning fast, dealing damage with your kicks.	14
Wolf Fang Fist	Kick your opponent before continuing into a flurry of punches.	16
Eight Gates	Gain access to the moves from the 1 – 6 gates.	20

The Eight Gates

This is the final skill acquired from the Tai skill tree with 20 points invested.

You can recast this ability 6 times in order to open each gate, when you open the First Gate you will get buff to your overall stats. This will stack with each gate you open until the Sixth gate.

Eight Gates buffs:

• Damage reduction
• Bonus damage to M1 attacks
• Bonus damage to Skills
• Body Flicker ( this is a short dash you can use while the gates are active )

When you get to the Sixth gate, you’ll get an huge increase in the buffs above as well as access to the Morning Peacock move.

You can only access the final 2 gates if you are part of the Lee Clan.

Best Combinations with the Tai Skills

The Tai skill tree is incredibly useful because it expands your melee combat mechanics a lot. Any Clan can benefit from this Skill tree, but the Lee Clan would be the best because members of this clan can unlock all of the Eight gates.
