Sins

In Absolvement, Sins are a difficulty modifier. Players can choose up to eight different Sins on their character. In return, they boost the number of Soul Fragments a player will receive after wiping.

Each Sin adds an additional 4% modifier.

Abomination

Icon for the Abomination  Sin in AbsolvementYou are now afflicted with all Sins.
You are now always affected by burden debuffs.
You receive 40% extra soul fragments on wipe.

Theft

Image All prices are doubled.
Most events involving gold have a 10% chance to steal your gold without fulfilling their end of the bargain.
Burden: Gold gain is reduced by 10%.

Wrath

Image• Through reckless outbursts of rage and anger you resolve everything with violence. This demeanor leaves you vulnerable to attacks from even the most basic of strikes.
Take 25% more damage from all sources.
Burden: Take an additional 20% damage from all sources.

Greed

ImageYou are now forced to select the highest rarity from potential selections to prevent your greed from turning dire.
Every time you refuse to do so, your greed inflicts a permanent, stacking debuff, decreasing your total armor by 2% per stack.
Burden: Potentials now have one less option.

Judgement

ImageYour potentials now have most of the important details obscured, use your best judgement to make your call.
Burden: ALL relevant information is obscured.

Gluttony

ImageEvery 4 minutes you are forced to consume a random item you may be holding on to.
If there is no is no item to eat, you will begin to aggressively gnaw and chew at your own hand, dealing 20 damage to yourself.
Burden: You are now forced to eat twice as often.

Slaughterer

ImageYou strive to be in for the thrill of the kill. It brings you genuine distress to not have blood dripping from your blade and no recent conquest against inferior souls.
Total Regeneration decreased by 10%.
All Damage reduced by 10%.
Walkspeed reduced by 10%.
Killing an enemy temporary reverts the debuff, and grants you an additional 2% Regeneration Rate, 2% Damage Dealt and 2% Walkspeed for a brief period.
Burden: Initial drawbacks are worsened by 50%, duration of buff when killing enemies is reduced by 50%.




Deceit

ImageNot all Potentials are truthful, some may be decoys.
Enemies may be a figment of your imagination, both in physical form and detection-basis.
Shopkeepers mislead you on their stock.
Burden: All chances of deceit are doubled both in likelihood and frequency.


Sloth

ImageYour slug-like behaviors cost you prowess, causing you to attack 20% slower.
Additionally, your walkspeed is reduced by 10%.
Burden: All cooldowns recover 10% slower.

Pseudoprophecy

ImageAcclimations to godliness resulted in damnation for eternity, it was only a matter of time before your so-called devotees would turn against their false prophet.
You are now permanently locked to one life.

Pride

ImageIf you are healed for more than 60% of your maximum health from healing spells, skills and consumables – you will be granted “Fragility”, making you harder to heal in the future.
Burden: Requirement to obtain “Fragility” now considers additional forms of healing.

Chance

ImageIncreases your chance to get a Common or Uncommon by 40%, making Rare, Unique and Mythical Potentials harder to get.
Burden: Commons are now twice as likely.

Deserter

ImageFWhile below maximum health, your walkspeed will begin to dwindle the closer to death you are, as your previous cowardly behavior will not work this time. The closer to zero health will linearly decrease your walkspeed up to 25%.
Burden: Maximum walkspeed reduction is now obtained at 50% instead of 0% health.
