Welcome to Absolvement unofficial wiki. Absolvement is a hardcore, permadeath roguelike Roblox experience that was developed by Amorian Skies. The game’s design and progression is meant to test the player’s skill and perseverance.
Features
The game features procedurally generated dungeons, scaling difficulty and rewards based on careful strategy and adaptability.
- Perma-death: Each dungeon run could end in a death.
- Infinite Dungeons: Delving deeper into the dungeon will yield better rewards, but coming out will be an even greater challenge.
- Character Design: There are no fixed classes or roles, players are free to choose and craft their builds.
- Progression: Unlock Skills, Weapons, and Talent cards that can alter your playstyle.
- Co-op: Play with up to 4 players to overcome dungeons together.
Gameplay
The gameplay in Absolvement requires both skill and strategy. The game rewards you for adapting and learning from your mistakes, rather than grinding for progress.
Controls
Absolvement is a parry-based Roblox experience, while also including a Block feature if the player has a shield equipped.
The Posture Stat is granted to the player once they equip it, and functions as an additional health bar for the player shield. The Shield’s Posture stat varies, and different Shields have different posture stats which can be increased by using certain Talent Cards.

Absolvement Beginner’s Guide
Before you even enter the world of Absolvement, you will have to create your character. In the character creation, one of the more important things is your Race. There are various races which you can choose, and most of them are viable, but there are two races that you should avoid, the Harmonite and Calvar race.
The Harmonite race might seem good due to its passive that gives more EXP, but overtime it will reduce the amount of Potentials you can get since you level up faster. The Calvar doesn’t really provide much to potential builds. In fact, you’ll have this big debuff that makes you unable to regenerate health, making it extremely hard to play, especially if you are new and just starting out.
Instead, pick a race that can add to your build. In case you are not sure what you wanna build, Katiyr is a great starting race since it can help you dodge.
You will also have to pick a skill, the best skill to pick is probably going to be the Lesser Heal. It’s great for solo and team play and it will make your runs slightly easier—its just the most useful skill to have.
Next thing you’ll have to do is choose the Sins. Sins are difficulty modifiers you can choose in order to increase the amount of Soul Fragments you get upon wiping. You will need these Soul Fragments for Soul Points which you can use later on Soul Tree to add points in to skill trees of your liking.
If you wanna maximize on your Soul Fragment gain, the Abomination Sin is the way to go, but it combines all the other Sins, which might be too hard if you are starting out. If you wanna have slightly easier time as you are familiarizing yourself with the game, Theft might be your best option, since it just increases the prices and reduces the gold you get, but the overall difficulty stays the same.
Avoid the Pseudoprophecy since you will only get 1 life which is not suitable when you are just starting out. Similarly, avoid Deceit and Judgement, since you won’t be able to see what Potentials you get do, making it harder to make your build or learn the game.
Once you are in the game you will do dungeons. There, you will be able to choose Affixes. Affixes will give you similar problem that the Harmonite race has and that is additional EXP boost, which is bad since it will reduce the amount of your potentials over time. Just don’t pick any Affixes for now.
And finally, after you’ve wiped and acquired Soul Fragments, it is time to convert them into Soul Points and use them in the Soul Tree. There are a total of 15 skill trees, some branching into more. Make sure you choose the skill tree that aligns with your build. Picking only 1 is usually ok, but there is possibility for hybrid builds.
