Features
- Fishing: Abyss offers a unique take on the fishing mechanic, the fish will be swimming around you as you explore and you will have to aim your gun at them and complete a minigame to catch them.
- Races: Roll for specific Races that will grant you unique passives, changing the dynamic of the game.
- Guns: instead of fishing rods, in Abyss, you will have different types of guns that function like harpoons. You will have many different types of guns to choose from.
- Tubes: the main way you explore the areas is by using tubes. Each tube you by will increase your oxygen capacity and the max depth you can travel to.
- Areas: you will have a lot of exploring to do in this game. As you upgrade your tubes you can start to travel farther and deeper and explore different areas.
- Artifacts: there are many charms in the game that will help you with catching fish and traveling.
Gameplay
In Abyss, the most important thing is catching as many fish and selling them at the Kraken. Each region you explore will offer many new fish to catch. Unlocking new Guns, Artifacts and Tubes will make it easier for you to complete the bestiary and catch every fish it the game!

Beginners Guide
After watchin a short cinematic, you will be transported into the Forgotten Deep—the starting zone of the game. You will need to talk to the Kraken and complete a short tutorial before you can explore the ocean.
After completing the tutorial, you are free to explore and catch fish. You can sell the fish at the Kraken and save your profits until you can afford to upgrade your Gun or Tube.
The best way to progress in the game is by following the many Quests that the Kraken will give you. After completing all the Quests from the Forgotten Deep, proceed to the Second Island and continue exploring.
