In DIG, weather and seasons constantly change, influencing the chances of digging out certain items or giving buffs to the players.

Time And Weather

Time and weather always changes in DIG. The Day lasts 25 minutes, 12.5 minutes for Night and Day each. The Weather Events are affected by these cycles.

Players can skip to Night or Day with the Horizon Horn, depending on when they use it.

Weather Conditions

Weather Conditions are randomly assigned at the start of each Day and Night cycle, and they for throughout their duration. There are 5 weather conditions in the game currently.

Weather	Details
Clear	• Occurs randomly at start of each Night/Day cycle
Cloudy	• Occurs randomly at start of each Night/Day cycle
Foggy	• Occurs randomly at start of each Night/Day cycle
Rainy	• Occurs randomly at start of each Night/Day cycle • Can be summoned with the Tempest Horn
Stormy	• Occurs randomly at start of each Night/Day cycle • Can be summoned with the Stormcaller Horn

Players can use the Horizon Horn, to skip day cycles and change weather that way, or they can use Tempest Horn to summon Rainy weather, or Stormcaller Horn to summon Stormy weather.

Special Weather Events

In DIG, there are special weathers that occur rarely and they are exclusive to Day or Night. These weathers mostly just give a buff to player’s stats. There are 4 special weathers currently.

Clover Storm	• Occurs only during the Day • All players on the server have double luck
Sparkling Rainbow	• Occurs only during the Day • Shiny luck is increased by 3% • Spawns a Pot Of Gold that can be claimed as an item
Meteor Shower	• Occurs only during the Night • Luck stat is tripled for all players on the server • A meteor will fall at either Fernhill Forest, Rooftop Woodlands, Mount Cinder, or Copper Mesa, containing either Celestial Totem (20,000$), Blood Crown (100,000$), or Starfire Shovel (600,000$)
Blue Moon	• Occurs only during the Night • Strength stat is doubled for all players on the server

Admin Weather

These weathers can only occur if the developer spawns them—they can’t be encountered naturally in the game. Usually, developers will spawn these weathers during certain milestones or major game events, to reward the community.

Money Shower	• During the event, every item is sold for 1.5x more • 10% chance to apply Greedy modification to an item
Supernova	• All items get the Supernova modification during the event
When Pigs Fly	• 50% chance to apply Piggy modification during the event
Hurricane	• All items get the Windforce modification during the event

Seasons

Seasons are universal across all of the DIG servers. There are four seasons in total:

Spring
Summer
Autumn
Winter

Each Season lasts 9.6 hours and they slightly increases chances of digging out certain treasures.
