Overview

Casting and Catching a Fish are two of the most important mechanics related to Fishing Rods:

• Casting Mini-Game:
  • The Casting mini-game involves players clicking and holding to cast their fishing rods. (Perfectly Casting will slightly extend the reel)
• Catching Fish Mini-Game:
  • Once the fish start biting, players will need to perform a short mini-game in order to catch them. This entails balancing the white bar underneath the caught fish by holding the [M1] button to move the bar to the right, and releasing it to move it to the left. (Perfect Catches reward players with increased EXP Gain.)

Stats

All of the Fishing Rods in Fisch have 5 Main Stats:
Control, Resilience, Lure Speed, Max KG and Luck.

• Control:
  • Increases the length and size of the bar when catching a fish.
• Resilience:
  • Reduces the movement of the bar and fish when catching a fish.
• Lure Speed:
  • Increases the Rod’s fish attracting speed, allowing players to start reeling in the fish much quicker.
• Max KG:
  • Determines the Rod’s ability to catch fish according to their weight. If the fishes weight is higher than a Rod’s Max KG, that rod won’t be able to catch it.
• Luck:
  • Increases the player’s chances of catching higher rarity fish.

Note: Some Rods in Fisch also have innate passive abilities. Increasing a Rod’s rope length, the size of caught fish or % Chance to apply a specific Mutation are just some of the available passive abilities.

Enchants

Players can Enchant their Rods to increase their chances of catching higher rarity fish with better stats, increasing the Rod’s stats or obtaining specific mutations.

To do so players will need to get their hands on a Relic, and use the Keeper’s Altar underneath the Statue of Sovereignty.

During a Perfect Catch the control bar will gradually decrease in size, but the progress speed will increase by 5% every second. 100% Chance for Mastered (16x Modifier) 2. 5% Chance for slashes that fills up 2% progress every 0.25 second. 3. 15% chance to fill up 80% of the progress bar instantly. 4. 25% Chace for Luminescent (9x Modifier).
