The Shinigami are entities that guard Souls once they depart from the World of the Living. They are also tasked with purifying Hollows.

Shinigami Clans

Bellow you’ll find a list of all the Legendary and Rare Shinigami Clans. Common Clans are also available in the game, but they offer no significant Stat Boosts.

Shinigami Progression

In Paradox, players who choose the Shinigami Faction when creating their character will spawn in Soul Society.

Soul Society Research and Development Institute

In Soul Society, players can accept and complete Missions which Reward them with Money and Potential. Gathering enough Potential, 75 to be exact, will allow the player to take part in the Soul Reaper exam.

Shikai

Once players reach 200 Potential, they’ll be able to Meditate and unlock their Shikai. To Meditate, they must press the [N] button

Meditating involves a quick-time event mini-game, in which players are tasked with pressing the corresponding numbers on their keyboards at the right time.

There are three stages in total, with the final one being a Boss Fight against the player’s Shikai Spirit.

Vizard Mask

To unlock the Vizard Mask, players must reach 500 Potential and speak with the Jamaster NPC which can be found in Soul Society.

The Jamaster NPC can be found inside of a building in the courtyard to the left of the Research and Development Institute.

Jamaster will task the player with completing a series of tasks:

50 Shinigami Kills
20 Ranked Wins

Completing these will allow the player to start Jamaster’s trials by talking to him again.

Bankai

To unlock their Bankai, players must reach 705 Potential and complete the following requirement:

Gripped by 10 different Races.

Once the first requirement is completed, players will then have to talk to the Kisuke NPC and challenge him to a fight.

Defeat Kisuke.

If players manage to defeat him, their next step would be to find their Bankai Spirit in Soul Society and survive their Trials.

Completing all of these will unlock the players Bankai.
