The Kingslayer is the final boss of the Grasslands World’s Chapter Three. The Kingslayer looks menacing, wearing black armor with purple segments. He has a large variety of attacks, with decent AOE, making him the most difficult enemy in the Grasslands.

Location

The Kingslayer Boss is located at the end of Chapter Three of the Grasslands World.

In order to fight him, players will first need to clear all of the rooms in Chapter 3. This number can very depending on the chosen difficulty.

Chapter Three Rooms

Once the last room has been cleared, players will then be able to proceed towards The Kingslayer by opening the room door with the button.

Abilities

The Kingslayer Abilities heavily focus on dealing powerful AOE Damage with his sword. In order to Damage him and dodge his Attacks, you will have to time your dodges accordingly and pay attention to your Stamina.

Sword Throw

“The Kingslayer will throw his sword when you first enter the throne room. This move will deal a decent amount of damage and knockback, while also applying Poison effect.“

Tips:

When entering the throne room, it would be the best to approach The Kingslayer from the side. The thrown sword moves slowly and it is easy to dodge, but can be unexpected when first encountered. He can do this move again during the battle.

Sword Slash

“The Kingslayer will slash with his sword around him in a small circle, knocking back whoever he hits and also applying the Poison effect”

Tips:

This Attack has small radius, a simple dash backwards should be enough to avoid.

Double Sword Slash

The Kingslayer will slash with his sword around him in a small circle, knocking back whoever he hits and also applying the Poison effect, after a short delay, he will do another slash

Tips:

This Attack has small radius, it can be tricky to avoid the second slash, since it’s similar to his singular slash attack. Usually the double sword slash comes after the regular sword slash, but it can be random at times.

Minion Spawn

The Kingslayer will summon 3 minions once his HP gets below the 50% mark. The summoned minions are Mages or the Bolt mob, it’s random which one will spawn. When they are summoned they will knock you back.

Tips:

This attack is very predictable due to The Kingslayer using it only after he gets to 50% HP, to avoid it just step away and focus on killing the summoned minions first, the Bolt minion should be the priority since it can stun, which can be devestating when you are next to The Kingslayer and 2 other mage minions. After the bolt minion, getting rid of the mages would be the best, and only after that should you focus on dealing with The Kingslayer. The Kingslayer can do this move again if the fight lasts long enough.

Sword Slam

The Kingslayer crouches down, and then jumps up to slam his sword into the ground ,dealing damage in a cone like shape while also knocking back and applying the Poison effect.

Tips:

This Attack has big range and can be deadly, but The Kingslayer always crouches, so make sure to use this timing to get to the side by dashing.

When you defeat The Kingslayer, a hand will appear above him, stating how he has failed the Wrath and perishing his soul.

Rewards

Upon defeat, The Kingslayer will drop a number of Items, Coin and EXP for the player. The Items the player will receive, and their amount, are random. Defeating him on Heroic difficulty will give you Tier 2 chests.
