Verse Piece Swords Tier List
Updated: Apr 24, 2025, 9:16 AM

In Verse Piece, the Sword is the main damage dealer in your tool set. Considering the impressive number of Swords in the game, and the fact that all of them have different damage outputs, CC potential and survivability options, choosing one can get somewhat overwhelming.
This Tier List will provide you with an outline of tried and tested options regarding which Swords are a must have, and which you should steer clear of.
What Are Swords In Verse Piece
Swords are an integral part of dealing damage in Verse Piece. Some can be directly purchased from their corresponding NPCs, while other’s are drops from specific bosses.
A number of the Swords can also be crafted, while all of them can and need to be Enhanced to maximize their damage output.

Swords Tier List

As you can see, there are quite a few Swords in each category. Here’s an explanation of our criteria for the tier list.
Damage isn’t the only thing when it comes to Swords. The number of Moves a Sword has, it’s CC potential and Cooldowns have all been taken into account when crafting this Tier List.
For example, in the S tier we have the Emiya and Lancer swords.
While Emiyas has more overall damage when it comes to its moves, the Lancer Swords Attacks are much easier to hit and the burst of DPS it can achieve is higher than Emiyas.
S Tier Swords
The cream of the crop, definitely the best and most fun swords to use in the game.
- Sung Jin Woo (Exotic): Quite possibly one of the Top 3 Swords in Verse Piece. This Sword boasts powerful abilities, impressive damage and an NPC ally you can summon. Also has a passive bleed effect on its ([M1][Z][X]) Attacks.
- Emiya (Exotic): Although being the newest addition from the current update, Emiya has one of the strongest Move Sets damage-wise in the entire game. While making it somewhat hard to connect with the enemy, Emiyas [Z] Move is one of the highest damage dealing Moves in the game.
- Lancer (Mythical): There are Swords with a higher base damage Move Set in the game, but Lancer’s burst potential makes it stronger than the rest. The speed at which it’s able to achieve impressive numbers, is unparalleled. Having the correct character build is crucial to using this Sword to its full potential, though.
- Cid’s Kagenou V2 (Myhical): Purely from an AOE damage dealing perspective, no other Sword compares to the V2 Cid Kagenou. With inherent iFrames on most of its abilities, the survivability potential this Sword offers is in a league of it’s own.
- Rowan (Exotic): While, unfortunately, only being available during the Halloween Event, Rowans Move Set is a true testament to it’s rarity. The damage capabilities on its M1 Attacks, and the CC available in its kit are what separate Rowan from the rest.
- Yoriichi (Exotic): Only obtainable by being in the Top 5 players on the Endless Dungeon Leaderboard is a simple testament to how strong this Sword is.
A Tier Swords
A Tier Swords are, in essence, just slightly weaker versions of the S Tier ones. The differences in overall DPS, AOE damage and CC capabilities are the only reasons they ended up in this tier instead of the S one.
B Tier And Lower
These Swords are decent while leveling. They have fewer moves then their counterparts higher up on this list. Our advice would be, trade them in for some of the A and S tier ones as soon as possible.
