Consumable Items

Consumable Items in 99 Nights In The Forest are Items which grant certain benefits to the player. They disappear from the players inventory upon use.

These items are mostly gathered out in the wild. Players can loot them off the ground, hunt animals for their meat or, in one instance, combine them into a very powerful Consumable.

Food Items

Considering the fact a Hunger System is implemented in the game, Food Items are one of the most important ones for a players character.

Raw Food Items

Raw Food Items can be gathered straight from the ground and cause no problems to the players character when eaten raw. However, players will need a lot of them to fill up their Hunger Bar, considering the fact that they’re not very nutritious.

Cooked Food Items

Cooked Food Items mainly refers to the Meat gathered from Animals inside the Forest. Players can eat them raw, like the other Food items above, but doing so will cause them to take damage.

The safest, and most nutritious way, of consuming these items is by either cooking them directly on the fire or making a Stew.
