How To Get Crafting Items

The three main Crafting components are:

  • Logs
  • Bolts
  • Cultist Gems

Logs

Logs are primarily farmed by cutting down trees and collecting them from the ground.

After collecting them, the Logs can be used for Crafting and Fuel.

Bolts

Unlike Logs, in 99 Nights In The Forest, Bolts can not be outright farmed with equipment. To gather them for crafting, players will need to explore abandoned Locations around the forest.

However, players can also gather their much needed Bolts by collecting other items and converting them in the grinder next to the Crafting Bench.

The amount of Bolts gotten from an Item varies.

Cultist Gems

Cultist Gems are the only crafting components that can only be gotten from defeated enemies.

They have a chance to drop once a player defeats either Melee or Crossbow Cultists. Once dropped, players can bring it over to the grinder next to the crafting bench.

How To Get Consumables

The primary use of Consumable Items is to keep the players Hunger Bar in check. If the bar reaches zero, the player starts Starving, which will make them lose Health each second.

Items like Carrots and Berries can be picked directly from the ground and bushes, but they restore a very small portion of the Health Bar.

To consistently keep Hunger in check, players can either cook meat gathered from animals at the Fire or use a Crockpot to make a Stew by combining three different Consumable Items.
