The game features a number of different mechanics like:
- Deer Monster: The ultimate threat in 99 Nights In The Forest. The Deer Monster spawns during the night, with its main purpose being to hunt down players. It can’t be damaged by Weapons, but it can be stunned for a moment while players try to make their escape.
- Crafting: Like any other survival game, 99 Nights In The Forest has a decent Crafting System implemented. Players will need to craft and use Items in order to survive the long night.
- Gathering Resources: Processing and gathering resources is one of the core mechanics of 99 Nights In The Forest.
- Base Building and Storage: Players can build, and wall off their bases, keeping them safe against enemies.
- Enemies: Besides the Deer Monster, players can combat a number of different enemies
