Types of Monsters in The Hadal Blacksite
Main Monsters
These are the main monsters of the game, and the most unique ones the players will encounter. All of these are harmful and will attack the player.
All Main Monsters

Good People | This Monsters is a mass of humans, that can spawn in rooms with multiple door. It will attack the player if they try to open it but won’t chase the player. | Players can evade this monster by listening near doors for growls, if they don’t hear it is safe to enter. |
Eyefestation | This Monster is a big shark with glowing green eyes, it spawn in rooms with large windows outside of the facility. It will drain the players HP when they are looking at it. | To evade this Monster players just have to break eye contact with it and go into the next room. |
Wall Dwellers | They are humanoid like creatures that come out of the walls. They will chase the player and kill them. | To survive this encounter players will have to spot it before it catches you. If it is seen before it can attack it will run away. |
Redeemer and Hanger | It will appear as a golden revolver and can spawn in any drawer, if the player pick it up a minigame will start with the Hanger, if the player fail they will die. | This Monster is easy to survive, players will just have to beat the minigame which consists of pressing [E] before the Hanger reaches them. |
![]() Candlerbearers | They are huge humanoid statues that follow players around and deal damage until they kill a player | They will only activate and start following players if they shine light on them, if there is no light they stop moving. |
Puddles of Void Mass | This Monster can be found in random lockers, and if the player opens the locker it will instantly kill the player. | Players can easily evade this Monster by not opening the locker that contain them. Lockers that have a purple glow indicate that this monster is there. |
Squiddles | This Monster spawn in rooms without any light. They are passive at first but can be provoked by standing close or shining a light on them. After being provoked they will attack the player. | The only way to evade it is to not provoke it, however it will not kill the player, just deal a random amount of damage. |
Pandemonium | This Monster spawns in rooms where there are hiding spots, if it spawns the lights will start flickering and it will go directly to the player. | To evade this Monster, players will have to hide and then complete a minigame which requires the players to keep their cursor in the middle of the screen. |
Noid Monsters
These Monsters are similar to one another. They are essentially different variants of the Angler Monster.

The Angler | This Monster can spawn in any room, players will see a text appear and the lights will start flickering, which means it has spawned. It will go through rooms leaving behind darkness and if a players gets hit he will die. | The only way to evade this Monster is to hide in a Locker and wait for it to pass by. |
Pinkie | This Monster is similar to the Angler, the only difference is the lights wont flicker but Pinkie will scream when it’s near a player. | The only way to evade this Monster is to hide in a Locker and wait for it to pass by. |
Froger | This Monster can spawn in any room, the lights will start flickering which means it has spawned. It will go through rooms leaving behind darkness and if a players gets hit he will die. | There are two ways to evade this Monster either hide in a Locker and wait for it to pass by or break eyesight with it. |
Blitz | This is the faster Noid monster, lights will flicker for a longer time when it spawns. | The only way to evade this Monster is to hide in a Locker and wait for it to pass by. |
Chainsmoker | This Monster can spawn in any room, the lights will start flickering, which means it has spawned. It will go through rooms leaving behind green mist that can force players out of hiding spots. | The only way to evade this Monster is to hide in a Locker and wait for it to pass by. |
Location Specific Monsters
These Monsters are harmful to the players but are only able to spawn in specific rooms within the facility.

Bottomfeeder | This monster spawns only in The Dredge, it will chase the players in the water, if it caches somebody it will force them into a minigame. If the players fails the monster will eat them. | The only way to survive this monster is to beat the minigame which requires players to spam [Q] or [E]. |
The DiVine | This monster only spawn in the Oxygen Gardens. They will only attack if the players step on the grass. | Players can easily evade this monster by stepping off the grass when they attack. |
![]() Candleburtes | Candlebrutes are a rare, larger variant of the Candlebearers. Unlike their counterparts, they can not be frozen in place by light, only slowed. They are always aggressive, hit harder and move faster than the Candlebearers. | In order to survive an encounter with the Candlebrutes, players will need to sparingly use their flashlights on them, whilst baiting them and moving around them room, quickly completing objectives before escaping. |
Neutral Monsters
These Monsters are the only entities that won’t harm the player. They are completely passive and some don’t even move.

Limited Time Imaginary Friend | This monster spawns after players interact with a toy remote. The Imaginary Freind will spawn, it is harmless to players. | They are harmless |
Abstract Art | This Monsters can spawn in any room in the facility. It only stands in place and ignores the players. | They are harmless |
Mr.Lopee | This Monster will only attack the players in runs with more than 1 person. He will lunge at the player dealing a random amount of damage. | This monster will randomly attack a player that is left behind in parties of more than 1 player. |

These are some of the rarest Monsters in the game, making it unlikely for the players to encounter them.

Sebastian Solace | This character is a supportive character to the players, when players encounter him they will be able to purchase items from the shop. |
The pA.I.nter | This character spawns in every run after the lockdown in the facility. It is a AI computer that players can talk to. |
Navi AI | This is a supportive sentient AI that helps players with progressing to the final room by showing them what path to take. |

Rachjumper | He is a purple demon that offers players some loot in exchange for money. He only spawns in the Gambling Room and the Club Spectrum. |
Grand Encounters

Searchlights | This entity spawns near the end game, players will have to evade its light beams and progress. If the player is hit by the light the enitity will shoot a hook and kill the player. | Players can stay away from its light beams and hide underneath objects to dodge the hook. |
Abomination | This is a huge reptile like creature that will chase the players. | Players will have to outmaneuver this creature in order to evade it. |
Firewall | This is a machine that sprays fire, players must go by it in order to progress. | The only way to evade the fire is by using the platforms that are around it and bypassing it. |
