Classes

In An Average Campaign, you can choose the Class you want by interacting with the Magic Mirror and going into customize character. There are total of 6 Classes: Warrior, Rogue, Mage, Ranger, Priest, and Brawler. Each has 2 Subclasses.

Subclasses are obtained through Events. By interacting with certain events, you can learn the Subclass of your current Class. One Subclass is in the Forest area, while the other is in the Dungeon area.

Warrior

A melee fighter that focuses on buffing itself and allies, while soaking damage. Builds STR and CON.

Rampager Subclass

You can obtain the Rampager Subclass in the forest area (first area) by choosing the A Powerful Stranger event when it appears. Choose the dialogue options that will let him teach you.

Rampager Subclass gets the Overpowering Slash and Brutal Slashes abilities.

  • Overpowering Slash is an STR scaling move that deals Physical damage to a single enemy and stuns them.
  • Brutal Slashes is an STR scaling move that deals Physical, it hits 2 times.

Knight Subclass

To become a Knight, you will have to choose the Knight’s Caravan event in the Dungeon Area when it appears.

Knight Subclass gets the Bulwark Rush and Warlord Strike abilities.

  • Bulwark Rush is a CON scaling move that Displaces enemies.
  • Warlord Strike is a STR scaling move that Fears enemies.

Ranger


The Ranger Class icon in An Average Campaign

A ranger fighter with an all-rounder kit, that can focus on debuffing, and multi target damage.
Builds DEX and STR.

Fay Wanderer

You can obtain the Fay Wanderer Subclass in the forest area (first area) by choosing the Fey Wanderer even when it appears. Choose dialogue options that will let him teach you.

The Fay Wanderer Subclass gets Summon Fay Wisp at level 4, and Faerie Arrow at level 6.

  • Summon Fay Wisp summons a Wisp(Pixie) to aid you in battle with it’s own moveset that can deal damage, debuff, and heal.
  • Faerie Arrow is a single target damage dealing and debuffing attack.

Gloom Stalker

You can obtain the Gloom Stalker in the dungeon area (second area) by choosing the Gloom Stalker even when it appears. Choose dialogue options that will let him teach you.

The Gloom Stalker subclass gets the Umbral Shroud, Soulrend Arrow, and Arcane Shot abilities

Rogue

A melee fighter with a focus on high single target damage, aiming to crit and build debuffs on enemies. Builds DEX and LCK.

Assassin

You can obtain the Assassin Subclass in the forest area (first area) by choosing the Strange Man event when it appears. Choose dialogue options that will let him teach you.

The Assassin Subclass gets the Backstab, Knife Throw, Poke Up, and Vicious Attack.

  • Backstab ability deals damage and applies the Bleed effect.
  • Knife Throw is a DEX scaling move that applies the Bleed effect.
  • Vicious Attack scales of DEX and LCK, it deals damage and applies Bleed stacks.

Drifter Subclass

You can obtain the Drifter Subclass in the dungeon area by choosing the Lone Drifter event when it appears. Scattershot (lvl 8 ability)

The Drifter Subclass gets the Lay Them Low, High Noon, Load Up, Pocket Sand, and Scattershot.

  • Lay them Low is a DEX scaling move that hits the enemy 3 times and can apply Toxin stacks.
  • High Noon is a move that applies a debuff on all enemies that increases Critical Chance. Killing these enemies will give you 40% extra gold while they have the debuff active.
  • Load Up is a move that increases your Critical Chance.
  • Pocket Sand is a move that deals damage and applies the Blinded debuff.
  • Scattershot is a move that deals damage to multiple enemies and may apply toxin.

Mage

A Caster with a focus on slef buffing and dealing damage, can deal major damage with high energy cost. Builds INT and LCK.

Bloodkin Warlock Subclass

You can obtain the Bloodkin Warlock Subclass in the forest area (first area) by choosing the An Upsidedown Individual event when it appears. Choose the dialogue options that will let him teach you.

This Subclass gets the: Gore Sharpnel, Bloodboon Surge and Bloodking Hex spells.

Necromancer Subclass

You can obtain the Necromancer Subclass in the dungeon area by choosing the Necromancer event when it appears.

This Subclass gets the: Summon Lesser Dead, Summon Undead Knight, Maintain Worldly Form and Spew Unlife spells.

Priest

A Caster with a focus on healing and buffing allies while debuffing enemies. Builds FTH and CON.

Druid Subclass

You can obtain the Druid Subclass in the forest area (first area) by choosing the A Resting Druid event when it appears. Choose the dialogue options that will let him teach you.

The Druid class gets the Summon Animal Companion, Nature’s Gift, Restore Life and Poison Spray.

Zealot Subclass

You can obtain the Zealot Subclass in the dungeon by choosing the A Single Zealot event when it appears.

The Zealot Subclass gets the Holy Flame, Flash of Light and Smite.

Brawler

A melee fighter with a focus on multi-hit attacks and self buffing. Builds STR and DEX.

Elementalist Subclass

You can obtain the Elementalist Subclass in the forest area (first area) by choosing the A Meditative Man event when it appears. Choose the dialogue options that will let him teach you.

The Elementalist Subclass gets the Way of Water, Way of Fire, Way of Wind, and Way of Earth abilities as well Meditative Aura and Elemental Fist later on.

Beast Subclass

You can obtain the Beast Subclass in the dungeon area by choosing the Beast event when it appears.

The Beast Subclass gets the Wild Swipes, Wolf Steps, and Unleash abilities.
