In Absolvement, the player’s progression and combat capabilities are heavily tied to Skills. Choosing the right Skills is something players need to be aware of when figuring out which kind of playstyle they want to go for.

Depending on the player Character’s Weapon, Race or Potentials, some of the currently available Skills can definitely make or break their build.

How To Get And Upgrade Skills

In Absolvement, unlike other RPGs, players don’t need to visit an NPC teacher to learn a Skill. Defeated mobs will drop Orbs upon death, which can contain the following:

Weapons
Skills
Upgrades

The Skills that the players receive are chosen at random.

Example Of A Skills Upgrade Potentials

Once obtained, every Skill can be further upgraded through killing more mobs and collecting Upgrades from Orbs.

Whirling Flames	High Heat 2/2 (Uncommon) – Whirling Flames now deal 7% more damage. Accelerated Heat 4/4 (Uncommon) – Whirling Flames now travels 5% Faster.

Skills can be paired and combined with other Skills. Doing this will result in a stronger version of both, producing additional on use effects.

Ash Tornado 1/1 (Mythical) – When Whirling Flames collides with Ash Stomp, it will EXPLODE, dealing 20 Fire damage.
Note – Locks Out Plague Detonation and Cryopathic Eruption
Plague Detonation 1/1 (Mythical) – When Whirling Flames collides with Necrotic Rot, it will EXPLODE, dealing 20 Plaguefire damage and applying Rot.
Note – Locks Out Ash Tornado and Cryopathic Eruption
Cryopathic Eruption 1/1 (Mythical) – When Whirling Flames collides with Frost Nova, it will EXPLODE, dealing 20 FrostFire damage and applying a Chill Stack.
